DESCRIPTION:

SUPERIOR STUCCO FOG COAT is a premium blend of Portland cement, Lime and Color pigments. It has been pre-blended at our facility to ensure quality and consistency for the Plastering Industry. SUPERIOR STUCCO FOG COAT also known as “Cement Paint”, is a SUPERIOR STUCCO Color Management product , allowing plasterers to create color consistency over traditional exterior stucco. SUPERIOR STUCCO FOG COAT is available in a wide pallet of colors and color matching is also offered.

COVERAGE:

Approximately 80-100 sq. yards per 25 lb. bag.

MIXING:

SUPERIOR STUCCO FOG COAT only needs the addition of clean potable water to achieve the desired consistency for spraying. Mix with an electric drill paddle mixer with approximately 5 gallons of water for every 25 lb. bag initially. Mix with another 3-5 gallons of water, mix thoroughly and let stand for 5-10 minutes. Mix again and strain through a 600 Micron Fabric mesh 5 Gallon bucket strainer 2-3 times, back and forth between 2-3 buckets. Clean Strainer each time to create a smooth creamy, milky-like material before straining into sprayer. Caution: Excessive water will reduce bond and workability.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

To ensure that SUPERIOR STUCCO FOG COAT bonds correctly, make sure the receiving surface is free of any contaminates, dust, debris, curing or cleaning agents, efflorescence, oils, etc. Mask areas not intended for SUPERIOR STUCCO FOG COAT.

APPLICATION: Apply SUPERIOR STUCCO FOG COAT using a Hudson type hand pump sprayer. Spray from 12”-18” away from unpainted/un-sealed exterior stucco. May require 2 coats for consistent and complete coverage. Do not let puddle or run. Material may settle while spraying; stir often to avoid separation of materials during application.

LIMITATIONS:

Do not apply SUPERIOR STUCCO FOG COAT when ambient temperature is below 40 degrees F or above 100 degrees F. The temperature must stay consistent within this range for a minimum of 48 hours after application for material to cure properly. Do not add more water than what is prescribed when mixing, floating or troweling this product. Excessive or insufficient amounts of water can cause product failure. Do not deviate from mixing procedures or overmix, as this may cause product failure.

CLEAN UP:

Clean tools and surfaces immediately with water.
