Superior Stucco PVA Bonder
A Poly-Vinyl Acetate (PVA) Based Bonder-Admix, for Cemetitious or Gypsum Plaster Products. Adds Flexural & Tensile Strength with Superior Bond
Take care that all Exterior or Interior surfaces are free of dirt, dust, debris, oil, efflorescence and foreign matter. Lightly wet wall before applying Stucco Supply’s SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER to porous cementitious surfaces. Saturated, Surface Dry Method (SSD): In order to achieve a proper Saturated, Surface Dry condition it is critical to achieve a substrate that is clearly damp below the immediate surface, has no standing water and has a surface that is showing no signs of a “film” of water on the surface. Ideally the concrete will be clearly damp (typically much darker than a dry cementitious surface) but the surface will have no water present and will be showing “signs” of drying. Apply SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER with a brush, roller or sprayer. Wait until tacky and then apply cementitious material.
Dilute SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER with water prior to adding to cement mix. Depending on desired bond and tensile strength add up to (2) Quarts or (1/2 Gal) of SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER that has been diluted, to cementitious or tile grout mixes. Do not over mix.
The coverage of SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER will vary due to job conditions, method of application and weather conditions. Typically (1) Gallon of SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER will cover approximately 200-300 sq. feet (5 Gallons: 1,000-1,500 sq. ft) Yields will vary depending on dilution rate and substrate.
SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep above 40 degrees F and below 110 degrees F.
Do not apply SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER when the temperature is below 40 degrees F or above 100 degrees F. This range of temperature must be kept for 48 hours to ensure proper curing. Keep away from hydrostatic pressure (Moisture/water) after applying SUPERIOR STUCCO PVA BONDER. Do not apply until surface is free of all contaminates.
Clean up with water immediately. DO NOT ALLOW TO DRY BEFORE CLEAN UP.
